First music draft

This is actually the second composer we contacted. The first composer we got bailed on us, so we were seriously lucky to find our current composer Lois Paton. She was extremely professional and immediately whipped up this piece within the first day we contacted her.

Throne design

This tree throne is based on the story of Morgoth and Ungoliant killing off the tree that held the light of the world. We figured he would want to have a constant reminder of  his greatest triumph as his throne, the evil twit.
I combined elements of all the trees I found on the web; trees that had been burnt, trees that had been struck by lightning, trees that had died. In short, I combined all the bad things that could happen to trees and inflicted them on this tree throne. To achieve the deadened effect, I textured it with a scaly bark and left bits of broken bark sticking out the back of the throne. The buttress roots also served to define the steps leading to the throne. I also drew inspiration from the tree roots of Angkor Wat to form the arms.
The tree will flower later on in the animation when Luthien's song magically transforms the place.
